KGCA TOT TIME:
Wednesday mornings from 9:30am - 11am at the KGCA Hall.
This is a free, parented drop-in program that includes unstructured play for the kids, free coffee for caregivers, and enjoy monthly guest artists (music, story time, and face-painting).
Its starting to get cold… join us at the hall for some indoor free play. Let the kids socialize and enjoy a bouncy castle, toys, drawing, and more. Come relax with a cup of coffee and meet other parents and caregivers - all are welcome!

KGCA Community Garden:
Our wonderful garden is located at the Hall – 2828 28th St SW. Every year, we ask the community who wants to be involved. KGCA members pay a fee per plot and then enjoy the challenge of growing their own fruits, veggies and herbs.
Recently our garden has been growing even more thanks to ATB Agriculture. Their help in grants over the past 3 years has allowed us to create 4 new cedar plots on 28th Ave – meaning even more residents can get involved. Check out the working bee to create the new beds here.
If you want to know more about the garden or enquire about a plot, email our coordinator.
KGCA BROWN BAG 4 KIDS:
Did you know that we have kids in our local schools who are struggling with food security? Every Monday and Wednesday morning during the school year, a group of local volunteers prepare healthy lunches at the hall and distribute them to 4 local schools. This is part of the BB4K initiative. By taking on the preparation and support locally, the central kitchen can support other schools in need. If you are interested in joining, email our coordinator.
KGCA Babysitting Referral Program:
Did you know your Killarney-Glengarry Community Association has a babysitting referral service? If you need a sitter, or would like to babysit, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: The Killarney Glengarry Community Association (KGCA) makes this referral service available to you on an “as is” basis and the information and content offered by the referral service is provided without warranties of any kind, either expressed of implied. We do have handy tips for both sitter and parents to guide you on establishing a good contract relationship, but take no responsibility for any damage, harm or inconvenience that may occur between the two referred parties.
