KGCA 5-week yoga program

When: See photo
Where: KGCA Hall (2828 28 St SW)
Fees: $60 for 5 classes (purchase your classes on the “Event Tickets” page)

Meet your facilitator:
Brenda is YTT200 graduate from the Mynah School of Yoga here in Calgary, and a long time yogi. Her passions outside of yoga include running, hiking, and soccer, which give her a good understanding of how yoga can support the body in all of its adventures. You can expect a flowy class with a focus on the breath body connection, as well as time for exploring extra depth in poses. All levels welcome!

KGCA TOT TIME:

Wednesday mornings from 9:30am - 11am at the First Mennonite Church (2600 Richmond Rd SW, Calgary, AB T3E 4M3).

This is a free, parented drop-in program that includes unstructured play for the kids, free coffee for caregivers, and enjoy monthly guest artists (music, story time, and face-painting).

Join us at the hall for some indoor free play. Let the kids socialize and enjoy a bouncy castle, toys, drawing, and more. Come relax with a cup of coffee and meet other parents and caregivers - all are welcome!

KGCA Community Garden:

Our wonderful garden is located at the Hall – 2828 28th St SW. Every year, we ask the community who wants to be involved. KGCA members pay a fee per plot and then enjoy the challenge of growing their own fruits, veggies and herbs.

Recently our garden has been growing even more thanks to ATB Agriculture. Their help in grants over the past 3 years has allowed us to create 4 new cedar plots on 28th Ave – meaning even more residents can get involved. Check out the working bee to create the new beds here.

If you want to know more about the garden or enquire about a plot, email our coordinator.
